Money flows through Clawy in two directions — your top-ups in, your bot's LLM costs out. Both paths are designed to be auditable, predictable, and provably non-custodial.
Stripe-secured payments
All card transactions are processed and stored by Stripe. Clawy never sees your card number, CVV, or expiry.
On-chain settlement
USDC top-ups settle on Base mainnet to a verified treasury address you can audit on-chain. No custodial wallets.
AES-256-GCM credentials
Bot tokens (Telegram, Slack, Discord, etc.) are encrypted at rest, decrypted only at runtime, never logged.

Things people ask
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Create an account with email or wallet, and add funds when you're ready. We don't store cards — Stripe does.
Which messaging platforms are supported today?
Telegram, Discord, Slack, and WhatsApp are production-ready. Signal and iMessage are on the roadmap.
How are my payments and bot tokens secured?
Card payments are processed by Stripe — Clawy never sees card numbers. USDC top-ups settle on Base mainnet via a verified treasury contract. Bot credentials (Telegram, Slack, etc.) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, decrypted only at runtime, and never logged.
Can I get a refund?
Unspent balance is refundable to the original payment method within 60 days, minus any non-refundable processor fees. Email support@clawy.io and we'll handle it within 2 business days. On-chain USDC top-ups can be withdrawn back to your wallet.
What happens if my balance runs out mid-conversation?
Each message reserves a small amount upfront ($0.10 by default). If your balance is below that, the bot replies with a top-up prompt instead of running. You'll never get an unexpected charge — top-ups are explicit and require your action.
How does USDC top-up work?
Connect any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow), pick an amount, approve the transfer. We watch Base mainnet for the transaction and credit your balance once it confirms (~30 seconds).
Where does my code and data live?
Code lives in your browser-side IDE workspace and a private virtual filesystem in our database, scoped to your user only. Conversations are cached in Redis with a 7-day TTL. Nothing is shared across tenants.
